The Anchorage Amateur Radio Club Membership meeting will be held via Zoom at 7pm on August 4th. See the https://kl7aa.org/events/ page for the meeting link. Our guest speaker will be Bill Hunstein, KL7TC from the Arctic Amateur Radio Club. Bill will be presenting on Parks on the Air and Summits on the Air (POTA/SOTA).
After the presentation, Club business includes membership voting on a new Board member who will fill out a vacant seats term, introduction of the AARC Elections Committee, and a briefing on the election procedures and timetable. Positions up for election this year are President, Secretary and 3 three year term Director seats.
