FSD-157 – Walk for Hope – May 7, 2022

What is an “FSD-157”?  It is a Public Service Report that we submit to the ARRL to let them know about public service activities we as amateurs are engaged in. We can report the following:

Following is an FSD-157 for the recent support we provided for the Walk for Hope:


Communications support for the 2022 Anchorage Walk & Roll for Hope. Net control was located at the Anchorage ARC’s Radio Science and Operations Center (RSOC) located at 6721 Raspberry Road.

This communication support event was coordinated by Keith Clark, KL7MM.

Equipment costs included estimated values of all HTs used, fixed/mobile/base stations, fixed antennas, the repeater, 2 bicycles, and our Mobile Telecommunications Vehicle (MTV).

There were 2 bike mobile stations used on this event operated by KL7TS and WD6BMJ.
