Go Ahead, Keep Us Informed!

Are you an IRLP god?  A DMR god?  A D-Star god?  A Fusion god?  An EME god?  Are you a god of something amateur radio?

If you are, or know someone who is, we’d like to create sections in our monthly newsletter to provide a current status/happenings report on the “thing” of interest.

This would be a great way to get the word out to those who otherwise might not know about a particular system or capability in the area, or not even know what they system or service is at all.  In short, it could help keep our local amateur community involved and informed.

You may have noticed that I started a section on our MESH network this month.  I hope to keep it going monthly.  I know for sure that we have plenty of IRLP activity in the area, as well as a spattering of DMR, D-Star, and Fusion.  I also know we have more than one EME, or “Moonbounce” geuru out there.  If we could get a short monthly input to the newsletter, and even perhaps periodic blog posts on the website, it might help spread the word.

Just a thought.  I hope that someone in each of these areas will take the time to step up to help the rest of us.

Drop a note to info@kl7aa.org [1] if you have an area of interest you can help with.
