Mesh Relay Needed in Eagle River

Are you an Eagle River resident that lives on the front side of Mount Baldy, up high enough on the hillside to “see” Anchorage? If so, you may be able to help out with our MESH network expansion, and even help provide a relay point to get MESH into our State EOC, not to mention, into Eagle River itself.

If you think you have this situation, we’d be grateful if you’d be willing to host one or more MESH nodes at your place. Power consumption is negligible (almost nothing), the footprint is small, the units are easy to mount, and all we need to get up to the node is a run of outdoor grade Cat5 cable.

Please drop us a note if you are game to take a look. If you provide some basic information, we can run coverage and path studies to help determine if your site is a feasible option! Contact mesh@kl7aa.org to help!
