Hi everyone. There’s been a resurgence of interest in CW around town, but I know a lot of newcomers to the mode are daunted because the only time they hear CW is during a contest. We will remedy that.
The Alaska QSK net will convene at 5 PM local [Alaska] time on 3535 KHz, hopefully every evening. We will keep it slow…I will be using a straight key. 3535 is comfortably inside the Tech Class frequency allocation.
This will be an informal net…a great way to become familiar with the art of casual CW conversation, which is a tremendous amount of fun!
