Arcticom Radio Operation
On some of the events that we help with, the race committee will rent commercial radios from Arcticom in Anchorage. Arcticom has a license from the FCC to operate on the commercial business frequencies. Anyone who rents these radios does not have to interact with the FCC.
Here is an overview of the controls on the radio:
Twist the volume knob clockwide to turn the radio on. When you first get the radio, make sure that it is set to the correct channel.
