Order Completed PiGate

The US government passed a law in 2021 that forces all organizations that are involved in money transactions, like banks, Amazon, PayPal, etc., to collect and report these transactions to the IRS (Internal Revenue Service).  This means any person or organization that has more than $600.00 in transactions over a year will have that information reported to the IRS.  So, for example in my case, any PayPal transactions totaling $600.00 or more will be reported, and the government will be expecting myself to report that when I file my taxes.  They will be allowed to compare what PayPal sends to them and what I report.

I built PiGate and PiGate RMS devices as a service to my fellow hams.  I did not make any money from this.  Now I’ll be required to pay taxes on these transactions.

As a result, I will no longer be building PiGate devices.  I’m sorry it has come to this, but government intrusion has gone too far.
