License Renewals and Administrative Updates
The Anchorage ARC VEC can submit license renewal applications and administrative updates to the FCC. Renewals can be submitted within 90 days before your expiration date, or up to 2 years after your license expires.
The process: Pay the Anchorage ARC VEC the appropriate renewal/administrative update fee then submit an online application form to us. We will then take that information and prepare an electronic form 605 that we will send to you via email. You will sign that document electronically. Once we receive the signed form, we make your submission to the FCC, then if you requested that we pay the FCC, we pay the FCC.
— For simple administrative updates or renewals where you pay the FCC $35 fee…. such as changes to your name, address, telephone number, email address, to simply have your callsign changed systematically (there is no FCC fee for these actions), or to request that we submit your license renewal request and YOU pay your $35 fee directly to the FCC, pay the Anchorage ARC VEC a $20 processing fee.
— For full-service license renewals where the Anchorage ARC VEC submits your application for renewal AND the Anchorage ARC VEC pays your $35 fee to the FCC for you, pay the Anchorage ARC VEC a $75 processing fee. SEE THE IMPORTANT FOLLOWING NOTE:
IMPORTANT NOTE FOR FULL SERVICE LICENSE RENEWALS: You MUST have a CORES account and you MUST have associated your CORES username to your FRN in CORES. Until that is complete, we cannot process your application.
