Initial LoRa Gateway Status Report
Here’s a bit of info about our LoRa Gateway we’ve installed at our Hillside South Location. You might remember that we installed the station on June 28 (check our blog post: https://kl7aa.org/aarc-installs-lora-gateway-at-hillside-south-site/).
While we can tell what information was passed specifically, we can tell you a few things about performance. As I draft this post the system has received 19,193 messages and transmitted 263 messages.
We even have a graphic that shows coverage of the unit. It even shows the relative signal strength of the stations heard. Do you notice anything interesting?
I’ll let this stand by itself for a bit and let Matt Ostrander, KL4QH, our LoRa genius add more in the future.
