Did you know that Student Memberships are free with the AARC?

Did you know that full-time students are offered free memberships with the Anchorage Amateur Radio Club? Indeed! But what is a Student?
According to our Rules of Procedure, a “Student” is defined as any individual who is enrolled full-time at any educational institution, using the criteria for full-time enrollment of that institution.
We are always interested in getting young folks engaged in the hobby, and becoming a member of the club is one way to do it. You don’t even need to be licensed…you can join as a “regular” member (that means you have a license), or an “associate” member (that means you are unlicensed).
As of the writing of this post, we have 192 members in the club. We’d love to increase our membership this year to at least 200 since it is our 75th anniversary as a club!
So please…parents…talk to your kids to see if they’d like to join the club. If so, simply complete the form at the following link:
