Giovanna, KE2COQ Upgrades to General!
Some of you may remember learning of Giovanna’s journey to earning her amateur radio license, KE2COQ back in January of this year. Check out this post as a reminder: Giovanna is now known as KE2COQ!!!!!
Well, after months of hard work, encouragement, and help from her many ham friends, (especially Melva, KE2BJU), Giovanna (Gio) took and passed her General class examination on December 15, 2024. Her exam was administered by our group of ACE XYL VEs.
My special thanks to Melva for taking such a supporting role in Giovanna’s adventure, for JD Delancy (W1JD) for organizing the special test session for Gio, and to our great team of VEs who enthusiastically showed up to help Gio through the exam process.
Well done team and congrats to Gio!
