Kenai/Soldotna Area Volunteer Examiners Needed

We are attempting to re-establish an in-person license testing capability in the Kenai/Soldotna area but need to re-establish a cadre of volunteer examiners (VEs) in the area to do so.

We do have a testing session scheduled for July 8 in Nikiski and could use an additional in-person VE. At present, we have 2, and without a 3rd VE we’ll be in a pickle and need to bring a 3rd VE in remotely (this kind of defeats the purpose of an in-person exam).

If you are a General Class license holder or above residing in the Kenai/Soldotna area, please consider joining the Anchorage ARC VEC team. All examinations are now administered via a computer so the paperwork process is much simpler than in the past! Pass a simple 30-question open-book examination, get set up as a VE in our system, and you are off to the races!

We are also interested in re-establishing in-person testing teams in other areas of the state. If you are willing to help form a team, please drop a note to vec@kl7aa.org.

Thanks and 73,
