Output CTCSS Tone (123.0) Added to 147.30/90 Repeater
An output one of 123.0 was added to the 147.30/90 Site Summit repeater yesterday during a visit to the repeater site.
This feature can really help those who might be using a cross-band repeat
radio in combination with the repeater.
Remember, it is HIGHLY RECOMMENDED that you require input tones on your crossband radio on BOTH frequencies to help prevent simple local noise or other interference from opening the squelch on one of the input frequencies and causing an unwanted transmission on the output frequency. This is of a very special concern when engaging with this activity and linking to a repeater (effectively causing an unwanted transmission on the repeater).
